ROBERTO CINTRA LEITE

Roberto Cintra Leite is Managing Director of Cintra Leite Consultants, a management consulting specialized in Strategic Planning, Family Business, Marketing for Professional Services Firms, Corporate Governance and Foundation Governance and Franchising Systems for franchisors.

The Cintra Leite Consultants was a member of Horwath International (HI) and Horwath Franchise Services (HFS) a group of independent auditing and consultancy firms, with more than 560 offices in 90 countries, under coordination and support of Horwath International.

He is a lawyer, graduated from Mackenzie University and has a degree in Business Administration from EAESP / FGV – Business Administration School of São Paulo - Getúlio Vargas Foundation.
He also studies in Paris – France and Cambridge - England.

He was also trained as a Consultant at SEMA and METRA International, in Economic Planning and Marketing in Paris and London.
He began his professional career as a consultant in BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON of Brazil, one of the largest American Management Consulting, where he participated in projects in the large-scale industrial companies.
For seven years, he was Administrative and Financial Manager of INTER-UHDE ENGENHARIA QUIMICA LTDA, a chemical engineering company, a consortium of THEMAG Engineering and Hoechst – Frankfurt.
He also assist clients for M&A services and work closely in association the biggest Law, Venture Capital and Private Equity firms in Brazil.
Also as a college professor, he introduced “Franchising” into the curriculum of EAESP/FVG (the Business Administration School of São Paulo – Getúlio Vargas Foundation).

He is the author of the books Franchising: for the Creation of New Ventures, editora Atlas, 1990 and From Executive to Entrepreneur,Editora Campus, 1999 and “Tecniques for Family Business Management”

He writes articles on business administration and Corporate Governance e Foundational Governance for major Brazilian newspaper and magazines. He is constantly interviewed by Television Network.
He Speaking English and French and is proficient in Italian.
